Organization Details

The Organization Details sub-tab is part of the Organizations section, which contains multiple sub-tabs for managing different aspects of your organization. This sub-tab allows Owners and Organization Admins to manage organization information, view the Organization ID, and transfer ownership.

Accessing Organization Details

  1. Go to your organization’s main page
  2. Navigate to the Organizations section
  3. Click the “Organization Details” sub-tab
  4. You must be an Owner or Organization Admin to access this sub-tab
Note: The Organizations section contains multiple sub-tabs:
  • Announcements - Manage organization announcements
  • Organization Details - Organization information and ownership (this page)
  • Sunday School - Configure Sunday School module
  • Teams - Manage teams and ministries

Organization Information

Viewing Organization ID

Your Organization ID is displayed at the top of the Organization Details sub-tab. This ID is used to invite people to join your organization. To copy the Organization ID:
  1. Click the “Copy” button next to the Organization ID
  2. Share this ID with people you want to invite
Tip: Share the Organization ID with new members so they can join your organization through the mobile app or web interface.

Editing Organization Details

You can update the following information:
  1. Organization Name (required)
  2. Organization Type (required) - Choose from:
    • Church
    • Ministry
    • Organization
    • Other
  3. Address - Street address
  4. Address Line 2 - Additional address information
  5. City
  6. State/Province
  7. Zip/Postal Code
To update organization information:
  1. Make your changes in the “Organization Information” section
  2. Click “Save Changes”
  3. A confirmation message will appear when saved

Transferring Organization Ownership

Owners can transfer ownership of the organization to another member.
Warning: Transferring ownership cannot be undone. The new owner will have full control of the organization, and you will become a regular member.
To transfer ownership:
  1. Scroll to the “Transfer Ownership” section
  2. Select the new owner from the dropdown (only shows current organization members)
  3. Click “Transfer Ownership”
  4. Confirm the transfer
Note: Only the current Owner can transfer ownership. Organization Admins cannot transfer ownership.

Saving Changes

  • Changes are saved immediately when you click “Save Changes”
  • A success message will confirm your changes were saved
  • If there’s an error, an error message will appear with details

Best Practices

  1. Keep information current - Update organization details if they change
  2. Protect your Organization ID - Only share it with people you want to invite
  3. Choose ownership carefully - Only transfer ownership to trusted members
  4. Review settings regularly - Check settings periodically to ensure they’re still accurate
