Host Dashboard

The Host Dashboard gives housing hosts a dedicated view of their assigned guests, including guest details, check-in status, and stay dates.

Overview

The Host Dashboard shows hosts:
  • Assigned Guests - All guests staying at their location
  • Guest Details - Names, contact info, and special needs
  • Check-in Status - Whether guests have checked in
  • Stay Dates - Arrival and departure dates
  • Capacity - How many guests vs. available space

Accessing the Host Dashboard

Hosts access their dashboard via a direct link:
/host-dashboard/?org=YOUR_ORG_ID&event=EVENT_ID
Or through the event’s housing section when logged in.

Dashboard Features

Summary Statistics

At the top, hosts see:
  • Total Guests - Number of guests assigned
  • Checked In - How many have arrived
  • Expected - How many are still expected

Guest Cards

Each guest displays:
  • Name - Guest’s full name
  • Check-in Status - Badge showing checked in or not
  • Stay Dates - When they arrive and depart
  • Contact Info - Phone number or email
  • Dietary Restrictions - Any food allergies or requirements
  • Special Needs - Accessibility or other requirements
  • Notes - Any additional information

Using the Dashboard

Before Guests Arrive

  1. Review your assigned guest list
  2. Note any dietary restrictions or special needs
  3. Check arrival dates and times
  4. Prepare accommodations accordingly

When Guests Check In

The dashboard updates to show check-in status:
  • Green badge - Guest has checked in to the event
  • Yellow badge - Guest hasn’t checked in yet
Note: Check-in status reflects event check-in, not arrival at your home. Guests check in through the event’s main check-in process.

Guest Information Details

Click on a guest card to see full details:
  • Complete contact information
  • All dietary restrictions and allergies
  • Special accommodation needs
  • Notes from event organizers
  • Emergency contact (if provided)
Print your guest list for reference:
  1. The dashboard is print-optimized
  2. Use browser print function
  3. Get a clean list of all guest information

Communicating with Guests

  • Tap phone numbers to call directly
  • Tap email addresses to compose messages
  • Share your contact info through the event

Best Practices

  1. Review early - Check your guest list before they arrive
  2. Accommodate needs - Pay attention to dietary and special needs
  3. Be available - Guests may need to contact you
  4. Coordinate arrivals - Know when guests are expected
  5. Prepare spaces - Have accommodations ready based on guest count
