Event Dashboard

The Event Dashboard is the central hub for managing an event. It opens at /event-dashboard/?org={org_id}&event={event_id} when you click an event from Calendar → Events.

Accessing the Event Dashboard

  1. Click Calendar in the top navigation
  2. Click the Events sub-tab
  3. Click on your event
  4. The Event Dashboard opens with its tab navigation

Dashboard Tabs

The Event Dashboard has five core tabs, plus a Settings tab for Owner / Org Admin only:
Note: Logistics sub-sections only appear for features you’ve enabled (transportation, housing, meals, signups). Enable toggles in Logistics are only visible to Owners and Organization Admins. Check-In appears when you have logistics_checkin_view permission or are Owner/Admin. Event dashboard tabs are filtered by granular permissions.

Overview Tab

The Overview tab shows:

Event Header

  • Event Name
  • Dates - Start and end dates
  • Location
  • Status Badge - Draft, Published, Active, Completed, or Archived

Quick Stats

Stat cards above the tabs show counts such as:
  • Registrations and Total Registrants
  • Services
  • Need Transportation, Need Housing, Need Meals (from registration answers)
Registration trends and charts are on the Analytics tab — not in the Overview stat cards.

Quick Actions

  • Manage Services
  • View Registrations
  • Manage Logistics
  • Event Settings (Owner / Org Admin only)

Services Tab

  • View all services in the event
  • Schedule Teams on each service card — opens bulk scheduling filtered to this event’s services (Owner / Org Admin only)
  • Add, edit, or remove event services (Owner / Org Admin only)
  • Share service schedules publicly
Event services don’t appear in Calendar → Services. They are managed only within this event.

Registration Tab

Two areas within Registration:

Form Builder

  • Build and edit the registration form
  • Configure registration settings (dates, multiple registrations, editing)
  • Add logistics template questions (after services are enabled under Logistics → Enable Services)
  • Share the registration link via Share Link

Registrations

  • View all registration responses
  • Export to CSV
  • Toggle visible columns with Columns

Logistics Tab

Logistics contains sub-sections (buttons along the top): See dedicated docs for each area:

Analytics Tab

View registration trends, response breakdowns, and event statistics. Useful for tracking registration pace and analyzing registrant data as the event approaches.

Event Settings

From the dashboard header:
  1. Click Settings
  2. Modify event details, registration settings, and service configurations
Only Owners and Organization Admins can access event settings.

Event Status Workflow

  1. Draft - Event is still being set up
  2. Published — Event is live (default on create). Public registration requires a saved registration form; open/close dates are optional (with neither set, registration stays open while published).
  3. Active - Event is currently happening
  4. Completed - Event has finished
  5. Archived - Event is archived for historical reference

Mobile App

Users with event dashboard permissions (Owner, Org Admin, or granular services/registration/logistics access — not analytics-only or signups-only) can open Operations from the Calendar tab.

Best Practices

  1. Use the dashboard - It’s your central hub for event management
  2. Check regularly - Review registrations and logistics as the event approaches
  3. Update status - Keep event status current (draft → published → archived)
  4. Export data - Regularly export registration data for backup
  5. Use Logistics sub-sections - Enable only the logistics features you need
